NORTH ISLAND HOLIDAY

Our two week north island trip was amazing. we paddled rivers all over the place including the wiakarekare stream, kaituna, waikaia and mohaka.

Safety first

The main trip was the mohaka which was a planned 5 day source to sea. all was going well until the weather turned and we had to pull out about 5 hrs from the sea!

when the rain hit we packed up and headed off to explore the waikarekare stream, we found some sick slides. check it out...

On the way home we stopped in at phils house for a bit of sea kayaking in the Abel Tasman national park.
